Meet
Valeriia Tsikunova and Evelina Trofimova from Nexters
Nexters, a global gaming company with over 700 employees, has been at the forefront of embracing hybrid work since July 2020. With five offices worldwide, Nexters needed a flexible and efficient solution to manage their growing hybrid workplace. Valeriia Tsikunova, Head of Office Management, and Evelina Trofimova, Senior Office Manager, played pivotal roles in ensuring a smooth transition to a more dynamic and employee-friendly office environment.
Challenge
As Nexters expanded, their internally developed booking system, initially designed for specific use cases, couldn’t scale as fast to meet new requirements. Updating office layouts was time-consuming, sometimes resulting in outdated information.
"As our company grew, it became clear that we needed a system that allowed us to make changes quickly," says Valeriia.
Solution
After carefully assessing nine potential solutions, Nexters selected deskbird for its flexibility, ease of use, and ability to update floor maps instantly. The mobile app and Slack integration were additional key features that met their employees' needs, making it easier for them to book spaces on the go.
In particular, the 'Repeat booking' feature and mobile application have been well-received, making bookings more accessible and convenient for our team," shares Valeriia.
To ensure smooth implementation and onboarding for users, Nexters' office management team took several steps, including comprehensive communication through Slack, creating user manuals, and setting up feedback channels. This proactive approach helped employees adapt quickly to the new system, ensuring minimal disruption to their work.
deskbird stood out not only because it met all our requirements but also because of its transparent billing system, which only charges for active users.
